Troop 776 is proud of its scouts! Recognized as a Journey to Excellence "Gold" award winner every year, we are an extremely active unit, with monthly outdoor adventures planned by our scouts.
Troop 776 has 115 Eagle Scouts whose service has benefited the community in many ways. Click here for a list of our scouts and their project impact history.
The "Court of Honor" is a special time for scouts to be recognized for their accomplishments. Troop 776 hosts its COH several times each year with food and fellowship for our families to connect.
Our trained leaders support an amazing scout experience. Every one of our adult volunteers are background checked, position-trained, and trained in safeguarding youth. All have First Aid/CPR/AED Certification and most have Wilderness First Aid Certification too! We welcome EVERY parent to contribute in some way. Get involved and join the fun!
Troop 776 was chartered in 1987. We added 776G in 2021 and Crew 776 in 2024. We are chartered by 501c(3) organization Friends of 776 and hosted at Advent UMC of Simpsonville where we meet in the Christian Life Center. We have our own "troop shed" onsite as well.
